U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Programs

The City of Rialto is an entitlement City and as such, receives grant funds directly from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. These funds must be used to develop viable communities by promoting integrated approaches that provide items such as decent housing, a suitable living environment, and expand economic opportunities for low and moderate income persons.

The City of Rialto currently receives an annual grant through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program. The City has recently received additional one time grant funds under the Homeless Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing Program, Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP), and the Community Development Block Grant – Recovery (CDBG-R) Program. In addition, the City has applied for competitive funds through the Neighborhood Stabilization Program 2 (NSP2).
