
I joined RRFC on July 8, 2009. The staff at RRFC has been friendly and welcoming. Most people think fitness trainers are expensive, and they usually are, but not at RRFC. The sessions are affordable and the benefits are priceless. I enjoy working out at RRFC because it offers me a safe and clean facility and a friendly atmosphere. There is a variety of fitness programs to join and every member is important.
My trainers are AWESOME! First, Gary and Jason sat me down and wanted to get to know me. They asked me what my ultimate goal was for this fitness training. They wanted to know about my eating habits and my likes and dislikes. They devised a fitness routine just for me. We all made a commitment. They informed me that I was responsible for what I did outside of the gym, and my trainer was responsible for what I do inside the gym, and we both were held accountable weekly to Gary, the RRFC Fitness Director. I lost 12.5 pounds just in the first four weeks. Jason always offers various modifications to an exercise to fit my fitness level and keeps me injury-free. I am looking forward to continuing my workouts with the RRFC trainers.

I weighed 235 pounds when I joined RRFC in November 2008. At that time I was recovering from two strokes, suffered from diabetes and had extremely high blood pressure. I also had just had surgery on my left wrist and hand. I knew that I had to do something about my physical condition fast. I started a 5-days-a-week workout routine that included Jean’s Pilates class, Paul’s Yoga class, cardio machines and weight training.
In six months I lost 30 pounds, and the doses of my diabetes and hypertension medications had been cut by half. I would recommend Rialto Racquet & Fitness Center to anyone who wants to get started on a fitness routine. The staff is friendly and helpful. I would particularly recommend the Pilates and Yoga classes if you want to improve your flexibility and strength. All you have to do is sign up and come in and get started.

I was facing the possibility of knee surgery when I joined RRFC about three years ago. I was overweight and my doctor wanted me to lose weight to take some pressure off of my knee. So, I made my mind up that I was going to do it or else!
I met with Gary who helped me set up an eating plan. I worked out 6 to 7 days a week, doing all kinds cardio and strength training – cardio machines, swimming and group fitness classes. I particularly have had good results from Jean’s Boot Camp and DeVaun/Ray’s Prime Results class. All the RRFC fitness staff has been helpful and encouraging. The really good news is that I’ve been able to lose 66 pounds up to now (I plan to lose 30 more), and may not have to have knee surgery now.

I love the pool!
Where else can you lose weight, lower your blood pressure, exercise all your major muscle groups, get a great cardio workout and not sweat? I have arthritis in my knee and the pool is the only place I can jog, jump and walk comfortably, as the water cushions my joints. Since starting the aqua aerobics classes I take less pain medication and I’ve increased my endurance and energy levels. My doctor and I are both happy with the weight loss, better blood pressure and better over all health.
You don’t have to be a swimmer as the workouts are in waist-to-chest-deep water; you can work at a slower pace or really work it. It’s a great way to exercise and meet a lot of friendly people of all ages and shapes.

I love working out at RRFC, the staff is incredible and the members are very friendly. I started working out here about 5 years ago. When I first came I was about 198lbs, I never worked out and my eating habits were horrible. Then one day a friendly trainer by the name of Devaun took the time to teach me the right way to work out and the importance of having a balanced diet. Little by little I saw the weight fall off and stay off. Now 5 years later I find myself at 160lbs with 8% body fat. With my new lifestyle I find myself competing in sports that I never thought I could do and feel better than I ever did. In the process I also had the opportunity to meet some really cool people that became really good friends. The staff and members here make you feel very welcome. The staff is very knowledgeable and always ready to lend a helping hand. I want to thank Devaun, Ray, and Gary for helping me meet my goals.

Hi! My name is Carmen and I would like to let everyone know about the experiences my kids have had since they joined RRFC’s Kids Fun & Fit exercise program. Adrian is 8 years old and very active. This program gives him a chance to use that energy in a positive way. He loves playing soccer and using the gym equipment. Andrea is 13 and overweight. Before she started the program she could not do one sit-up, but now she is doing 10 to 25 sit-ups. She is more flexible and willing to lose the weight. Her favorite activities are the pool and playing basketball. I really recommend this program; it helps our kids stay active, healthy and more confident.

Rialto Racquet & Fitness Center is a great place to work out. The staff is always friendly, helpful and supportive to the members in achieving their fitness goals. There are excellent programs and workshops for all ages. The facility is maintained to the highest standards at all times, which is especially nice when working out on a daily basis. I am thrilled with the affordability of a personal trainer at this center. Gary has personalized my training which has given me greater results faster. With Gary’s encouragement and knowledge, he has pushed me to maximize my fitness potential and manages to make the workouts fun with his creative exercise programs.
